My computer has been infected by a deadly evil virus from H-E-L-L double hockey sticks, so I have to wait until my husband gets home from work with his laptop to get on the internets. Then there's dinner & mutual & bedtime & now I have 5 minutes to post something new, so we can get rid of the rats already. Whose idea was it to post that anyway? So... here are a few of my favorite pictures from our little vacay in Corinne, THE place to be on New Year's Eve let me tell you!
Corinne is the location of an annual New Year's Eve Ball that is the social event of the year. Here we are decorating for the celebration/risking the lives of small girls.
There was also the anticipated New Year's Eve Pot Luck, which was better than ever this year due to the cafeteria trays we got to eat on.
Here is Daron with his favorite Christmas present, Matthew's school picture. It was supposed to be for Ma, but she refused to realize that it was a joke, so Daron got the framed picture of his brother-in-law. It is now hanging in Daron and Christina's home next to their wedding pictures. Maryann, maybe we can get one of Jeff & Matthew together next year!
And now, The Ball.
The princesses made their grand entrance each with a dashing escort.
Then we danced and posed for pictures.
The weather was fabulous. My girls loved all the white stuff.

We went sledding:
(That one's slightly disturbing.)
She was only slightly bitter.
Everyone had a big fun time, as we always do when we get together. We played Apples to Apples on New Year's Eve & kept checking the clock to see if it was midnight yet, so we could go to bed. We saw Avatar in 3-D on the Imax screen at Jordan Commons. (WOW!) I kept wondering where Ross was. We missed the Fowler's. We talked and talked & laughed & wished we could've stayed longer. And now we're looking forward to the next time we see everyone. Thanks Mom & Dad for always being so welcoming and gracious and helpful when our family takes over your house!
Love you Nelsons! -every single one of you!
